Hermes Gmail Read Only
Terms of use
Effective October 19, 2026
This is documentation for a private, personal email-assistance installation. It is not a public email service or a public authorization portal.
1. Scope and intended use
Hermes Gmail Read Only is operated by its account owner to search, read, and ask questions about their own Gmail messages using Hermes Agent and a local connector. No subscription, service account for visitors, or public registration is offered through this site.
Visitors may read these documentation pages. Visiting the website does not create an account, grant Gmail permissions, or connect a mailbox.
2. Authorization and permitted access
The operator must authorize access using an account they control and comply with the applicable Google API terms and policies. The configured Gmail grant is read-only. Sending messages, creating drafts, changing labels or read status, archiving, trashing, and deleting mail are outside this connection’s permission boundary.
Do not use the integration for unauthorized account access, surveillance, advertising data collection, or other uses inconsistent with its disclosed personal-assistance purpose. Any future change to permissions or data practices requires a corresponding policy update and authorization.
3. Privacy and external providers
The privacy policy describes the information accessed, local retention, transfer to configured AI providers, Google API Limited Use commitments, and revocation. Read-only access is not a guarantee that retrieved information remains confidential or stays exclusively on the local computer.
External services, including Google, AI API routing services, model providers, and Vercel, operate under their own terms and privacy policies. The operator is responsible for selecting providers and settings compatible with the disclosed data practices.
4. Output and availability limitations
AI-generated summaries and answers may be incomplete, inaccurate, or influenced by untrusted email content. Check important details against the original message before acting. The integration does not provide professional legal, medical, financial, or other regulated advice.
The software and documentation are provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or continued access to third-party APIs. These terms do not exclude rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
5. Revocation, changes, and contact
The account owner may stop using the integration and revoke its Google authorization at any time. Previously retained local or provider-held copies must be managed separately as described in the privacy policy.
Questions can be directed to the operator using the contact method in the privacy policy. Material changes to the integration or its terms will be reflected in the documentation’s effective date.
This independently operated personal integration is not an official Google, Nous Research, or OpenClaw product. References to those services identify the software or APIs used and do not imply endorsement.
